i tried to use the browser from outlook 2003 - it worked fine except for when i was clicking the links that were opening new browser windows. in IE or firefox, when a new (popup) browser window is opened by javascript, it shares the session cookie with the opening window, but in outlook this does not seem to be the case. my website requires the users to log in, and then it authenticates subsequent requests using the session cookie. so in the popup windows i was getting the message back from the web server "your session has timed out, please re-login", while in the main window the website kept working. how can i get outlook to behave the same way as the other browsers in this case?
